For children, their primary occupation is PLAY. Through play, pediatric occupational therapy at PhysioCare helps children gain independence and promotes development in fine and gross motor skills, sensory motor skills, visual motor skills, and the cognitive and social skills children need to function and socialize at home, school, play, and in the community. An occupational therapist provides interventions to children who have, or are at risk of having, developmental delays and are experiencing difficulties functioning in one or more areas of their lives.
Diagnoses may include but are not limited to:

- Cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders
- Sensory processing disorder
